Lotto player scores a cool $1 million

It may be cold outside, but things will be heating up for one Lotto player after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in tonight's live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Thorndon General Store in Wellington.


Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $7 million.

Meanwhile, Strike Four was won by a player from Hastings, who takes home $300,000. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Mahora Four Square in Hastings.
