One person has died following a fatal crash in Ranfurly, Central Otago overnight.
The single vehicle crash happened shortly after 12.30am on Kyeburn Diggins Road.
A police spokesperson says a second person received minor injuries in the crash.
"Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash and the Serious Crash Unit have assisted with a scene examination."
