Homeless man Dean Amies was killed by a van fleeing the police in the suburb of New Brighton on Wednesday last week.

Mr Johnson said during their search for the 21-year-old, the police have recovered six firearms, drugs and two stolen cars.

He said the 15 people arrested face various charges.
