Police have made an arrest following a serious assault in Brooklyn, Wellington earlier this month.
Emergency services were called to Central Park just before midday on Friday 6 December.
A woman with life-threatening injures was taken to hospital and was released the following day.
A 16-year-old will appear in the Lower Hutt Youth Court tomorrow.
