Two men were hospital after the vehicle they were in rolled over in the weekend.

The Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was dispatched at 9am on Saturday, to Pongoroa, to a 4 x 4 vehicle which had rolled over.

"Two male patients were treated at the scene by the onboard paramedic. One patient received an injury, a possible fracture, to the left hand and wrist," says a spokesperson for the rescue chopper.

"The other patient received an injury to the shoulder and a large laceration to his head.

"Both men were flown to Palmerston North Hospital for further treatment."
