Lotto: Powerball player lands $7.3 million win

Powerball's winning streak continues with a lucky player from Te Kuiti scooping $7.3 million with Powerball First Division in tonight's live Lotto draw.

The total prize of $7.3 million is made up of $7 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.


The winning ticket was sold at Paper Plus Te Kuiti in Te Kuiti.

This follows on from a $20.2 million Powerball win just two weeks ago, with the winning Christchurch man deciding to gift half his winnings to his family.

Two lucky Lotto players from Auckland and Waikato will also be celebrating after each winning $333,333 with Lotto First Division in tonight's live Lotto draw. The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Magazine City & Lotto in Auckland and to a MyLotto player from Waikato.

Meanwhile, Strike Four was also won tonight with a player from Brightwater taking home $200,000. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Brightwater Four Square in Brightwater.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
