Police call for Kerikeri witnesses

Northland Police are appealing for witnesses after a "driving incident" in Kerikeri yesterday.

The incident, involving two vehicles, happened at approximately midday on Wednesday and allegedly involved erratic driving.

A police spokesperson said: "The incident involved a black vehicle and a silver vehicle and occurred on Purerua Road, continuing down Kapiro Road, Landing Road, Waipapa Road, and on to the Kerikeri Heritage Bypass.

"To date, we have charged one of the drivers in relation to this incident.

"However we want to hear from any witnesses as part of our ongoing enquiries and to help establish the circumstances."
