Police have serious concerns after items were stolen from an Eastern Bay of Plenty vet.
Edgecumbe Police are very concerned the stolen vet products may cause serious harm in the community, says Eastern BOP area prevention manager Senior Sergeant Yvonne Parker.
“Overnight on Wednesday May 9, offenders broke into Bay vets clinic on Bridge Street, Edgecumbe, and stole a number of powerful drugs that are usually administered to animals.
“These drugs can be fatal in the wrong hands and Police are extremely concerned.
“For that reason we encourage anyone with information on the theft or anyone who knows where the drugs are to return them to the Vet Clinic immediately or call their local Police.”
